It has a good FPS of 200 with 0.12G BB pellets and an easy pull-back top slide, so it is great for young shooters. One thing to be aware of is that the magazine is made from lightweight plastic, so we recommend that you treat it carefully. One last point: if you are buying for a gift, you may want to consider buying a pistol bag or hard case as the box that this pistol is supplied in is not made to last, being made of a cardboard top and polystyrene bottom. However, apart from all that, this is a well-made pistol that will last if treated with care.
